Cuttenclip Island is a sky Island, located in northern Oz in the sky west of Glinda's Castle.  The Island was created by Sally Cuttenclip a talented eleven year old girl. She created an entire village out of magic paper given to her by Glinda the Good.   The Cuttenclip village is a great attraction to vistitors who liked to marvel at the paper doll people and their whimsical village.  Due to the concern that a slight breeze could send the villagers and their homes and possesions flying off into the air in all directions, Glinda created a protective glass dome over the village and turned them into a sky Island to keep the village intact and safe.  You can still visit the island but you have to promise not to sneeze during your visit. Visitors are required to wear a stylish safety mask to prevent any accidental mishaps that could put the cuttenclippers endanger.

Meet Jinjur

Jinjur is a loyal and fair minded girl who felt that OZ was ruled by men for far too long.  It was her idea to create an Imperial Army of girls to help protect OZ.  When the people of OZ proclaimed Ozma their true and rightful ruler,  Jinjur was rewarded for her loyalty.  Ozma's first royal decision was to name Jinjur and her (girl) army the offical Royal Guard of OZ.  She also promoted Jinjur to Captian of the Guard.   With her promotion Jinjur became the personal protector and confidant of Princess Ozma.

The Captian of the Guards offical headquarters included a private office and personal appartment in the Emerald Castle. The royal couturiers were asked to design and create magnifiacent new uniforms for the Captain and

her troops.  The troops were given brand new quarters in

a newly built facility close by.

it wasn't long before Jinjur and Ozma became great friends.  Even though they were friends, Jinjur was very careful to not overstep her rank. As captain of the guard she afforded the Princess all the courtesies her royal positon deserved. She never addressed her by her first name in public. She always stood up and bowed to greet her each time she entered or left a room.

Jinjur took great pride in her position as Captian of the Guard and she worked hard to lead and support her troops. Her compassion and fairness was recognized and appreciated far and wide.  Jinjur recognized as a very respected and powerful leader through out OZ.

Meet Mombi

The Wicked Witch of the South

The Wicked Witch of the South, named Mombi, is a fictional character in L. Frank Baum's classic children's series of Oz Books.[1] She is the most significant antagonist in the second Oz book The Marvelous Land of Oz (1904), and is alluded to in other works. Mombi plays a very important role in the fictional history of Oz.

The character was originally presented as a lowly hag who had enchanted Princess Ozma in order to prevent her from ascending to the throne. Later in the series, L. Frank Baum specified that she had once conquered and ruled the Gillikin Country, as the Wicked Witch of the North, only to be deposed by the Good Witch of the North.

Furthermore, Mombi had enslaved Ozma's father (King Pastoria) and grandfather, thereby removing the Royal Family of Oz, and enabling herself and the Wicked Witches of the East, West and South to conquer and divide the land between them.

After forcing her to disenchant Princess Ozma, Glinda the Good Witch of the South made Mombi drink a powerful draught that stripped the old witch of some of her magic powers leaving some of her spells with unexpected results.  The main spell she can still cast consistantly is to turn anyone who offends her into inanimate object .

She resents that her powers are limited.  When anyone crosses her or gets in her way "Poof" she enjoys turning them into a teapot one of her more consistant spells. .

After a while she had so many teapots she decided to open a Museum show off the her talents and skills.  She enjoyed wacthing her patrones marvels at the beauty of a specific teapot, she delighed in knowing that she was the only one who knew they were actually looking at a missing friend,  a loved one or favorite pet.

Mombi spent many years tring to figuar out a way to get back at Glinda and gain her powers again.  Creating her Teapot Museum is the first step in her master plan.  She spent many a long nights sipping pomagranite tea accompanied by her cat princess, as she plotted the perfect revenge.

You're Invited toSolve the Mystery

The Mystery of the Ruby Slippers started out as the spark of an idea, a simple thought that grew out of frustration as I sat in my car stuck in traffic one morning on my way to work.  If only I had the Ruby Slippers, I could just click three times and instantly get anywhere I wanted to go.

At the time I was the owner and CCO, (Chief Creative Officer) of Ruby Shoes Studio, with 18 years of experience and success creating dazzling images, powerful messages and imaginative products for a wide variety of regional and national clients.  So, as I continued on my way, I found myself immersed in a barrage of ideas and thoughts around what I would do if somehow, I did fine myself in possession of Dorothy's Magic Slippers.

Fast-forward 15 years...

After adopting my beautiful daughter Angelica all my ideas around possessing the Ruby Slippers began to slowly comeback to me.  When at age 10 she fell victim to an horrific case of bullying, I decided to update my original plan and create an interactive web site as a way to empower and help my daughter and other girls who may have fallen prey to the current bullying epidemic . The methods used are limited only by the child's imagination and access to technology. And the cyber bully one moment may become the victim the next. The kids often change roles, going from victim to bully and back again.  Learn more
